Today I present a portuguese book about Criminal Law and, so this will be a post more for Portugueses.

It´s  a books focusing in Portuguese Law of Evidence, and comparing the portuguese criminal system to the american one. Its author is Paulo Dá Mesquita.

Hoje trago um livro português sobre Direito Penal, "A Prova do Crime e o que se disse antes do Julgamento. Estudo sobre a Prova no Processo Penal Português, à luz do sistema Norte-Americano."

Não o li, mas pareceu-se extremamente interessante e útil.

Here is another book, a classic for Forensic Archaeologists and Anthropologists, not new, but surely worth to read it when one has to deal with a case involving the location and excavation of Human Remains.

Sets the standards of the discipline,  and mainly its development in the United Kindgom, where has gain some space in the "club" of Forensic Scientists.

Aqui está outro livro, um clássico para Arqueólogos e Antropólogos, não ė novo, mas decerto vale a pena lê-lo, no caso de se ter que investigar um caso que envolva a localização e escavação de restos humanos.

Estabelece os parâmetros da disciplina, e sobretudo fala-nos da sua evolução no Reino Unido, onde ganhou algum espaço no "clube" dos Cientistas Forenses.

I like this book. With several articles focusing the decomposition process, is very useful to understand what is behind the decomposition of a human body and its relation with the soils or surfaces that are in contact with.

A good book, the cover is from the portuguese edition, but you can find it in other languages. The author tells us about how societies faced the criminal phenomen, throughtout time.
