NecroSearch International
A few days ago, I ´ve received a LinkedIn invitation from a Necrosearch International Founder.
I´ve decided, immediately, to write a post about it and its nature.
This post is rather useful for in the forensic world or law enforcement agents who are not so familiar with this topic: multidisciplinary approach to buried or hidden human remains and the background research that this activity comprises.
This association was created in 1987 in the United States of America.
The volunteer’s members dedicate their time helping law enforcement agencies locating clandestine graves and the evidence associated to it. There are several professional areas which can complement the investigations, constituting an holistic approach to the scene of crime, or to the area that have potential.
One of the essential piece of work of this Association is the research of the burial site and the decomposition of the corpse, using pigs (Sus Scrofa) as a substitute of human cadavers.
You can find more information on their Website and with a quick research on the web it will appear articles that you can find useful.
